The Dark Side of the Moon

As I walked out of my hotel near Gloucester Square tube station, I was immediately struck by how clear and sharp the crescent of the moon was. Without a tripod, I had to wedge the camera against some railings on top of a wall. What struck me when I looked at the picture was that you could easily see the full round globe of the moon, even though just the crescent shone brightly.
