Life's tangled skein

Grangemouth Views

One of my regular running routes involves a climb up the Wallace Stone Brae. This 75 metre hill is enough to leave me pretty bushed, but when I get to the top I always enjoy this view.

This is us looking more-or-less northwards from the top of the Brae. The hills in the distance are the Ochils; the chimney in front of them is Longannet Power Station. Closer again, Grangemouth Docks, and to the right of the the various chemical works that surround the refinery.

Closer still and you have the villages that make up the Braes... once separate villages but now pretty much merged into one single town.
