Kiwis

The plant not the people.

The kiwi fruit are bursting into life. They have been in my garden for about 5 years and still no sign of a flower. They are those awkward plants that need a male and a female in order to set the fruit. They are big, 6 footish, 3 feet wide and look very healthy. The leaves are covered in red fine hairs which look pretty but I would rather like some fruit this year. So I am waiting and hoping.
