Notes from a bald-eagle

By Aquila

Romance

The Whin (Gorse for the non-Scots!) was looking fabulous this morning. According to folklore, you can only kiss when it's in flower. But with varieties all over the UK coming into flower at all times of the year, that's not really a problem! Hundreds of migrant birds flying over this morning along the coast. Big flocks of meadow pipit as well as crossbills, redpolls and siskins.
