spring joy

We found four ewes and twins for each on our walk this morning. They had no fear of us, or the dog (she only looked through the gate), but were, I think, keen to see if we had brought any food. The mothers seemed placid, but watchful.
I like the way the sun is shining through this lamb's ears.
It will be lovely to watch them all grow each day. Let's hope they stay in their moat field behind the church.
