lucky or canny?

Both kids were no go for a photo today. Nell turned puce in the heat by 11am (March in Brittany, this girl is sensitive) and then fell down a step and got a swollen nose. Matthew was too busy and then changed into his nylon football kit which I try to avoid photographing at all costs.

So here is 9+ lives Eric the guinea pig. We spent a happy hour trying to trap him last week when he Houdini-d into the bamboo. And he got left out to the mercy of foxes, cats and birds last night but still he soldiers on. Snug and safe indoors tonight though. Happy days, I seem to have become fond of him.
