Juno

Iris bucharica, once a rare plant, now cheaply available through mass propagation in Holland. A member of the group of Iris known as the Juno Iris, in their native habitat, notably Soviet Central Asia, this would be called Juno bucharica.

Easy in a sunny place, well drained. This group have declined in number since last year. They want a cool, wet spring and a warm dry summer. Last year we got a hot, dry spring and a cool wet summer .... not ideal. What chance this year?
