Padaria

One of my favorite places in Brazil are the padarias. A simpler translation would be bakery, but the concept is much broader. It is a place where you can buy bread (of course), cold cuts, cakes. You can eat a sandwich or have a regular lunch as well. Or you can go with your friends and have some beers and appetizers. It is also a mini market. It doesn't matter if they are fancy or simple, the concept is the same. Another interesting fact is that a lot of the padarias are owned by Portuguese people or their descendants.
Today I stopped at one nearby to have a coke and a bread and watched the second time of Milan and Barcelona. This fellow is the owner, watching the game with me.
