Mother and Foal

Patsy and I went for a ride today just to get a new and interesting blip. We actually drove up to a house to ask permission to photograph the new foals and they said OK. I gave them one of my cards so I hope they see my blip. This is one of my favorite images from today.

On a sad note, the kitten I blipped (seen HERE) and it's siblings are all missing. I photographed 3 Swallow Tailed Kites in the neighborhood where these kittens lived on the same day that they went missing. One of the neighbors described the kites flying close to the ground. We suspect that these birds got them all. I researched the Kites and they do eat small mammals.
