SPaRCASM today!

Today was our Scottish Pain (SPaRC) 2nd Annual Scientific meeting at the West Park Conference Centre in Dundee, which I organised (ably helped by others in my team at work). I often worry about events that I am organising in case anything goes wrong. Thankfully, all seemed to go well and everyone seemed to have an informed professional meeting.

Here is a shot of one of our keynote speakers, Professor Eija Kalso, from the University of Helsinki - she was absolutely delightful and gave a very interesting and informative presentation on post operative pain following breast cancer.

I say this sometimes, but it is days like this that make me realise how much I enjoy my work!
