Thank goodness the weather's turned cloudy and chilly; the pressure of producing pretty flower blips was taking its toll. Here instead is the true ugly face (and shorts) of Liverpool:

Unshaven - check
Dirty - check
Socks with plastic flipflops - check
Ill-fitting clothes inappropriate for the weather - check
Maximum flabby belly and buttock exposure - check
Government-recommended jerry-can - check
A petrol station with one working pump and a half-mile queue of cars - check
Piss off said queue by walking to front to fill can - check
Spill half the contents while filling - check
Leave without paying, the next car can add it to theirs - check
