These words were written by George Mackay Brown but they sum up what I feel about Blipfoto and photography in general.

Today I am in Edinburgh, and after my meeting I wandered up and down the Royal Mile, eavesdropping on tour guides who sell the whisky, shortbread, tartan and Auld Lang Syne version of Scotland.

Speaking of my favourite tipple, 'Whisky Galore' is showing tonight at our local community cinema, aka 'Flicks in the Sticks'.
Not that I approve of stereotyping.
