In Bloom

A fellow Twitterblade posted a photo of blossom the other day and I promised I would be inspired to capture a similar picture.

The weather forecast suggests that today could be my last chance of achieving a clear blue sky in the background. The schools are on holiday from today so it is guaranteed that the monsoon season is not far away.

The picture was taken in an area known locally as the "Flower Estate." The streets are named "Lilac Road" "Primrose Avenue" "Daisy Walk" etc. I hope to re-visit in a month or so as the blossom is usually bright pink.

The person who inspired me is doing a 365 day photo project. On current form a similar project would take me 4 years to complete.
