St Aubin's Bay - Jersey

Up early and got the bus into St Hellier, Carol went to visit her Auntie to sort out some personal business, I stayed in St Hellier in case I was needed.

The weather was miserable with a real strong wind, found myself in St Aubin's Bay where I took lots of pictures of the Jersey Eye and the distant Elizabeth Castle built on an islet in the bay, Elizabeth Castle has defended Jersey from the French for more than 300 years. Elizabeth Castle was built in 1590 and was once the home of Jersey?s Tudor Governor Sir Walter Raleigh, the sea was really rough with no possibility of getting out to the Castle today on the duck.

Business completed, no dramas so back to St Brelade for a nice hot cuppa
