State of Collapse

Seem to have been running round a bit today, things to do, mostly housework, bits and pieces of paperwork, emails, paying bills etc but Ollie and I did get out for a walk and a breath of fresh - very fresh - air.

Wild and windy today. And chilly. Back down to 8 deg C in the back garden, which means we are definitely back into vest wearing weather! Needed hat with earflaps, scarf and gloves for our walk, and my wellies. Not best pleased, but it is the same every year, I get lulled into a false sense of spring and then get, as they say up here, a dirty drop!

This is an old building near us. I've only just noticed how close to collapse this lintel is. It will be like a domino effect once it goes, the rest will follow. Like such a lot of old buildings round about, the owners don't want to sell them, but are happy to watch them fall into a pile of rubble. So sad.
