Katherine Parr's Final Resting Place

The residents of Winchcombe were kindly invited by Lady Ashcombe to preview the exhibits and facilities of Sudeley Castle, this being the Quincentenary of the birth of Queen Katherine Parr, the surviving wife of King Henry VIII (Congratulations!!!). This shows her tomb in St Mary's Church, in the grounds of the castle.

The weather this morning was a bit nippy, but this afternoon the sun came out and we all took advantage of this knd offer.
