Live it loud!

If you didn't panic yesterday - PANIC!

So, here's how the union meeting went....

"If we ballot to go on strike so the announcment is due just a week before the Easter Weekend, that will cause the public to panic-buy petrol. If we're lucky, the government will pour petrol on the fire and increase the rate of panic buying. Sorry, no pun intended :)

That will help empty the filling stations Wed/Thu/Fri so we have to spend all that weekend re-fueling them and getting time and a half for the pleasure of doing so. If we get our hours relaxed it means we can work all weekend none-stop.

On the Monday, we announce we're going on strike the Tuesday after Easter.

That will induce further panic buying all next week and the Easter weekend which means we get overtime all week leading to Easter and Double Bubble over the Easter Weekend.

Then we go on strike for a few days having earn't far more than we're going to loose.

So brothers - do you want to vote for a strike.....?"

OK - Maybe I'm a bit cynical - but that's just the way it's going to work.

And who's going to suffer?

All I have to worry about now is finding some fuel ???
