Seafood Galore

J and I had a great day out. First time in ages that we've gotten up so early on a Saturday, 10am haha. We managed to get honeymoon booked - the Maldives, woohoo! J was unsuccessful in getting a pair of wedding shoes. Seems nowhere in Scotland do proper designer bridal shoes!

We had booked dinner at The Steak and Mussel Bar in the Grassmarket. Neither of us had been before and we hadn't heard of anything about it. Both of us love seafood, so we thought it should be ok. Let just say, we thought the place was just amazing. J had a roast seafood platter and I had a pot of mussel in a whisky and cream sauce... delish! The portion size was excellent, the seafood was fresh, service was very good and it tasted great! Definitely a place we would go back to.
