Go Ahead

And Jump?

Went out on a good old fashioned Sunday drive today, the kind your auld man used to make. Headed along the to the eastern end of the Ochil Hills and turned north to Glendevon for a stop-off at Castlehill reservoir here (Fife's fresh water supply). Samantha and her vertigo stayed in the car reading whilst Euan and I walked over keachin it at the drop but manly pretending we weren't feart. There was some amount of water spewing out below and it was making nice rainbows in the sunshine.

We then drove north across the hills and stopped off for a nice lunch before heading around the back of the hills and back down their western flank. Fantastic views all the way north to the Cairngorms and north west to the Southern Highlands, and a great drive on almost deserted single track roads.

We knew we were heading back to civilisation as we came around a bend to where there's normally a few cars parked as people head on up to the top of Dumyat. It was like a really badly laid out NCP car park up there. The poor Hairy Heilan Coos didn't quite know what to make of it all.
