Getting the sparkle back

Yarrow Valley, Selkirkshire

Went down to the Borders again for my weekly walk, today just with a friend which meant that we could stop and look at things and take as many photos as we wanted. And we saw a bit more than I usually do with my walking group who cause all wildlife to stampede. We did the Duchess's Drive walk from Bowhill in the Yarrow Valley which is an excellent walk - it has a bit of everything - woods, fields, moorland, river and even a castle! There's a gradual climb at the beginning and then you are on a ridge which curves round so that you get many different views before you descend to return along the river. And the beauty of the Borders is that we met only one other walker along the route.

It looks much better large.
