Heightened senses, Higher Synth

I assume - as we're all different, that we all have slightly different levels of sense data - thus slightly different realities, borne of enhanced or attenuated responses from our individual sets of fleshy sensors to brain. I believe I read that these sensory spectra overlap and in effect we just have to grasp our own meanings, and interpret our own reality. Synthesia - A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a colour.
This almost explains my feeling perhaps, perceiving the Hyacinth as some form of compound floral tuba - gutsy aromatic bass-blasting cone of brash blue brassiness.
Returning from our Cornwall trip, we arrived back to Meme's -to a home-full of intensely perfumed melodies, the lone indoor bulb had sprung into olfactory overdrive and had drenched the place in its joyful tones, a sweet harmony, a low-note symphony, serenading a joyous primal scented welcome to the spring.
