Yummy Tempura Udon

Great Japanese lunch today tempura udon at a Banzaiya a Japanese owned and run restaurant in Shenzhen . Udon are thick noodles and here it's ebi (prawn) tempura. I sprinkle a bit of shichimi which translates from Japanese to English as 7 flavour spice.

For anybody not familiar with tempura it's vegetables or seafood deep fried in batter. A traditional Japanese dish introduced to Japan the best part of 500 years agp by the Portuguese.
