Coal hole

Weather has changed, cold and damp tonight. Early evening walk with Charlie Dog. I like exploring around here - looking for architectural curiosities and social history. This is an old coal hole cover at the back of Livingstone Road in Blackburn. It says that it was made at the Canal Foundry, Church, Accrington. We must have walked past this place yesterday
