At unit EC 3: safety precautions.
The so-called "boosterpump" of the auxiliary seacoolingwatersystem was leaking.
There was a hole in the pumpcasing due to corrosion. There's a lot of sand in our coolingwater so all the material in the system has to be coated or has to consist of titanium. The coating inside this pump had been worn out so it has to be replaced by a new one.
The circuitbreaker is out and the pressure and suctionvalves are secured in closed position.
The secured parts in the system are padlocked and labeled.
The pump has been removed already, in the back you can see the electric motor with couplingflange.
