varying suitability

I should have put the bairnseat on the sparebike ages ago: not only is it bouncier on the wheels and presumably more comfortable as a result but it slightly improves the handling as well as being easier to handle with the extra load than the narrow-wheeled compact-framed normalbike. There's a little extra space between the lock-saddlebag and the boy's middle but not as much extra between the backs of my feet and the front of his, though there's enough for the recently-acquired foot-platform-straps to be useful.
