Eric at Bat

Eric's first 'at bat' in the 2012 baseball season. He's playing on the 13 year-old Juniors team this year which has significant rule changes when compared to the past seven years of Little League.

The most significant is that the boys are now playing on a diamond with 80' base paths, up from 60' in years past. Since the diamond is bigger, the base runners can lead off and steal and the pitchers are subject to balk penalties. It's a lot to remember and a greater physical challenge, but the team looked quite good in it's season opener.
