Spring woods

Denburn Wood in Crail was our route for a little wander this afternoon, after a long stint in the garden.

We were hacking back conifers which had been planted in the early days at Sandcastle Cottage but have now outgrown the rockery. It's funny to remember that 20 years have gone by since then.

Denburn Wood was route the children chose to follow to see if the rope swing was still in place (it was). I was more interested in seeing the tadpoles in the burn (stream) and the primroses and bluebells.
