Bad weather, what bad weather.........??
Ok, so we had a couple of showers over night, but nowhere near enough rain to avoid the hosepipe ban which is due to start this w/end.
But once again the morning has brought clear blue skies and bright sunshine.
The temperature is still way above that of a normal April morning, and with those higher temperatures unusual sighting are becoming the norm.
This Peacock Butterfly was flitting around in some bushes by the moat around Fort Brockhurst.
Not being any sort of expert in Butterflies, i imagine this beauty has just re-emerged from hibernation so depending on how old it was before hibernation it may have anywhere between a month and ten months of life left.
