Twelve-Hour Winter.

The day has been filled with gales and blizzards blasting ferociously around the streets where this time last week we basked in an early and precocious Summer. By the evening, more snow is heaped upon East Lothian in the far distance beyond the tower blocks as the gigantic cloud catches the last of the sunset.

As this freezing behemoth engulfs Leith, the neighbourhood escapes with only a mild white-out.
