The Farm Road

I often take Webster our cairn terrier for walks up the farm road beside my parents house. He loves running up and down it, digging, barking at other less worthy dogs! And I love the view from the top. It's so beautiful.

Today though, we both took a quiet stroll up instead. Stopped to take some shots then made our way back to the house.

I felt this pic reflected the mood of the whole family. It's dark, sad, and I know, that our life's journey will be completely changed.

My Grunny was one of the very best. I can't even put into words just how empty our lives will be without her.
