Why?

It was a bit of a shock to find my first aid skills coming into serious use for the first time today. Sylwia cut her hand very badly and, after treating and bandaging the wound with shaking hands, I took her up to A&E.
Thankfully, Sylwia is fine, but they decided to keep me in overnight.
O, the melodrama.
