What's Up, Duck?

I've been back to St Mary's the last couple of days hoping for another sight of the peregrine falcons but haven't been lucky. On my second visit today a passer-by said he didn't think they had been around for a few days. I hope he's wrong as this could mean they had abandoned their clutch of eggs, but it could simply mean that they have been out of sight, either both below the ledge of the tower or one of them away hunting.

I have also learned that falcons have been seen on the tower in previous years, including last year.

These ducks by the churchyard railings overlooking Mill Street don't seem too bothered.
