liquid gold

well, we've had yet another stunning sunset tonight and yes, this really was the colour of the water reflecting the golds of the sun.

i've also had a fairly 'monumental' day in my 'photography' life as i posted a photo yesterday on Tourism Australia's Facebook wall - they have over 2.6 million fans, amazing - and today they featured it as one of their 'fan photos of the week'. It's a shot i took on wednesday of a surfer at Tamarama (but not the one i posted on blip). It's unreal - i've had over 1200 likes already on it!!! Cannot believe it. So exciting! a lovely start to the weekend.
