Blue tit

We have noticed the wee blue tits going in and out of our two bird boxes in the back garden. One is wooden and in the past few years has been home to great tits.
This year we pushed the boat out and bought a flatpack cardboard bird box in a sale in Pets at Home for 75p! ( Yes, it's true what they say about the Scots they are mean careful with their money! We put the cardboard box up in a sheltered place under the eaves of the house and almost immediately the
blue tits were checking it out. Time will tell if we have a new family soon.

Not a great start to the Easter holiday weatherwise. However, hope all you Blippers enjoy the long weekend.
