Easter Cockling

Bit of a pattern emerging in Anglesey with the low Spring Tides over Easter. Good Friday seen us add to our humungous mussel haul from yesterday with both Cockles and Razor Clams dug and enticed with salt up from Red Wharf Bay. The plan was a big clam bake tonight under pine needles on the decking but to cut a long story short with bad weather plus an invite for dinner elsewhere plans have now changed (life is full of such tough decisions). Anyway, clam bake is now postponed but the little beauties are still all bubbling away, and getting less gritty by the hour in my Professor Pat Pending seawater aerator cum aquarium contraption.
