Learn something new every day

I learned something new today. The symbol above was on the bottom of a Happy Meal box bought from McDonalds and we thought, "How ridiculous. They are claiming that the box is dishwasher safe!"

Now I believe that we are not alone in this misunderstanding but it transpires that it means simply that the item bearing the symbol is suitable for use with hot food.

So sorry McDonalds for mocking you earlier and thank you for providing today's learning point.

We had a wonderful family get together today, the first that my sisters and I have had for some time without the involvement of a funeral. In fact we had all the offspring in attendance too so all the cousins were together for the first time in a couple of years.
