Joe

MrsClix had her hair done.

I woke up the other day and MrsClix had done her hair in the bathroom. After I had gone to bed early.

I switched on the light the next morning.

"Ah, very red today."

Eh? Then she glanced in a mirror.

Joe to the rescue.

"So, you'll be half an hour", I say.

"What? An hour and a half!"

Three hours later I decide to investigate.

The rumour that Joe had ventured next door for a second bottle of wine I am sure are unfounded.
