COCKENZIE POWER STATION

We took the bikes out with the intention of getting to Haddington but, a combination of factors mean't we only got as far as Cockenzie. Had a pub lunch there and headed back. These gates used to be locked, but you are now allowed through the back of the power station as part of the cycle route. There were loads of locals fishing there, don't know if I'd fancy the fish from next to the power station much though!

Saturday night at the Casino was a mixed bag. There were a whopping 100 players for the £30 freezeout game, making a prize kitty of £3,000. Just over £1000 for first place. I managed a respectable 20th place, though the prize for 20th is the same as the prize for 100th! Went out at 2am, spent a couple of hours on the cash tables, and managed to recoup some money after 7hrs of pokering. Net result of a modest £15 profit for the night.

NB:these results are always more of a diary for me, rather than mean't to interest you!
