Proud Mary

Well, Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival, is what Melissa sang. We had a management and staff karaoke day in work in aid of Action Cancer UK, and many of us (yes, I was involved, emulating the great Stevie Wonder belting out Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours!) took part behind the checkout bank and it didn't at all sound like wailing cats! Over £500 was raised through donations from grateful/frightened/ escaping customers.

Melissa and her younger sister, Hannah, were very good indeed and as you can tell from her pose, she was full of confidence. It's just a malicious rumour, that we had to send security up to separate Mel from the microphone, to let someone else have a go ;)

In other news, my Japan Rail ticket arrived today!
