Sabbatum Sanctum

Silent Saturday.

Together with fellowblippers Ron and Herman, I spent this evening on the coast of the Wadden Sea, near Moddergat (Frisia) where we witnessed a spectacular sunset.

Just a few moments after we arrived at the scene (one hour before the sunset) we found ourselves ankle-deep in the mud. Ron even deeper than that... but soon we were all busy making lots of pictures, forgetting about time and....tide.
About one hour after sunset the water began to rise even faster than we thought. We didn't have to run back, but a firm walk back was suddenly necessary. We all survived.

A nice way to start Easter 2012! Thanks guys for this nice evening.
