The Corkscrew

A totally unplanned trip to Alton Towers today allowed me an opportunity to blip one of the loops from the old Corkscrew ride.

They closed the ride years ago and put the track in storage but a few years ago reprinted the loops and made it into a huge "statue" for want of a better word.

On a personal note I cannot work out why they painted it blue. I would have definitely left it the iconic yellow it was originally.
