LINDISFARNE PLATE

A lazy blip for Easter Day, as it's grey and damp outside. So another of my fancy plates, this one inspired by one of the carpet pages from the Lindisfarne Gospels. The Gospels were made in Lindisfarne between 680 and 720 AD, and a 10th Century annotation attributes them to Eadfrith, who I think did a pretty wonderful job!
