Crowds gathered along the shores of Southampton Waters to watch Balmoral leave on her Titanic re-creation voyage (More details here) The number of passengers is the same, the food served will be from menus of the White Star Line and a band on the dockside played the same music as the Titanic band on that fateful day.
There have been mixed feelings about this voyage - is it glorifying tragedy or is it a fitting memorial to those who lost their lives. . . .
