Basket Weaver

Jasra Handicraft Centre is a 5 min drive from where we stay and I've never been to see the artisans creating traditional crafts. So I've decided that I will go everyday this week to capture these talented men!

This is Mr Salah, he's a basket weaver and has been for many years, in fact, since he was a boy he was taught by his dad. This is a fishing trap he's busy with, when he saw me, he got up, wet a couple of palm leaves which is cut in long strings and made me a ring, faraz (horse) and a camel! Just like that!
