Spider Jumps

We set off from Canberra very early and arrived in Lugarno in time for lunch. The boys rushed off to their AFL game, leaving us to our own devices.

Eventually we managed to pry Im away from the marbles for the planned excursion.

An old favourite, the walk from Oatley to Como along the pipeline track. A bit breezy but fairly sheltered by the time we got to the playground. For me, a chance to see a few changes - the disappearance of the oyster sheds, the disbursement of economic stimulus funds at Como, but most was as it was when we lived in Sydney all those years ago.

At the playground the climbing web took up most of Im's attention, when she wasn't foraging for pistachios at least.

Having been stung by a bee recently, she is somewhat preoccupied with the relative merits of bees and spiders - coming down squarely on the side of spiders (and against bees, mosquitoes, leeches and other nasties).
