Velvety bees

Busy day at work catching up with things. Managed to get out for a walk and came across this flowering shrub that was buzzing with beautiful velvety, furry black and orange bees. They were so beautiful - there were about 3 zipping around on the blossom.

Not much happening in the lanes today - I think there were more people going up and down as it is still the school holidays.

Went home with good intentions of finishing the last curtain but it remains hanging covered in pins. Perhaps tomorrow?
