Let the games begin!

Now ...the kids were bored ...very bored ...until J spotted the Tiddly Winks that Granny had bought them many, many moons ago. Ah! ...brings back memories .... but A just HAD to check the proper, actual, real rules - he likes every thing to done properly (unlike his Mum!) .

Well, we now know that the winks are the wee plastic discs and the bigger one is called the "squidger" - who would have known?? Game starts with a "squidge-off" (much to the hillarity of the kids .... made even better considering they are 13, 16 & 17!!)

Wink in a pot - a potted wink (surely not?)
One wink upon another (Oh er Mrs!!) as follows .......
Top wink - a squopping wink
Bottom wink - a squopped wink
Unpotted AND unsquopped - a free wink
You have to pot all 6 winks to win
AND ........
Scoring consists of 3 tiddles for each wink that you pot!!!

Well much fun was had by all - A got the hang of it nae probs and won by miles, much to the distress of his big sis!! Quite obviously the old ones are the best .....
