Yummy rhubarb!

I am so excited that my rhubarb is growing, I love the stuff and can't wait to be able to start to eat it. My friend gave me this root last year, cheers Angela!

I have tried in past houses to grow it but never succeeded so am really happy it is well on the way to a proper plant. I have had one stick of it! Angela gave me some from her lotty which made a fab pie and I had one piece that looked big enough to pull so I did!

My husband keeps asking who I am talking to in the garden and if it is not the birds (I have a dove on a nest in my tree who I chat too a lot!) it is my rhubarb!

He still loves me though maddness and all.
