Sculpting at the Henry Moore Foundation

Jane Davalle and Glynnis Bainbridge have been spending the last two days sculpting from life at The Henry Moore Foundation.

Yesterday the artists started by making small drawings concentrating on light shade and form. The next task was to make larger work with right, then left hands.

Today, small maquettes were made from a live model, then after lunch, a head sculpture begun.

The grounds of the institute were a delight in themselves with many of Moore's original pieces.
