Decidedly a mixed bag in terms of weather today and a return to what feels like winter; decided to turn the heat back on again to take the chill off.

Am getting organized in my new 'retiree' life and find that more often than not, I'm running out of time to do what I want to do. The biggest switch from my work life seems to be the sheer diversity of stuff I do. Sorta cool :))

Preparing a trip to Italy for the month of June: Toscany and Venetia. Any tips from anyone on stuff we should absolutely not miss (or conversely, stuff no tourist has ever seen?)
